Foreign Affair
Foreign Affair is a Canadian winery with a twist. The owner fell in love while in Italy with the appassimento method of winemaking. The packaging has to, at first glance, convey the juxtaposition of the two cultures while remaining classical enough to cater to an exclusive clientele.
FOREIGN AFFAIR WINERY
Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada
A Canadian winery with a twist. The owner fell in love while in Italy with the appassimento method of winemaking (where the grapes I dried in the sun after harvest). Years later, he decides to open a winery in the Niagara Valley exporting the winemaking method.
The packaging has to, at first glance, convey the juxtaposition of the two cultures while remaining classical enough to cater to an exclusive clientele.
Years after launch, this affair is going stronger than ever.
